1VV Famous Visitors collection is an artificial collection (compiled by Archivists from multiple sources based on subject) dating from 1883-1978. Includes records of visits to Wellesley College by these groups and individuals: Zuni Native Americans, sociologist and civil rights activist Dwight O. W. Holmes, Hawaiian Princess Victoria Kaʻiulani and Queen Kapi'olani Napelakapuokaka'e, author and historian Edward Everett Hale, poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, French actor M.
